Installation

Choose your AI client and follow the matching instructions.

1. Open the configuration file

On Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

2. Add the Klark server

Claude Desktop does not yet natively support remote MCP servers. The mcp-remote package bridges the stdio protocol and HTTP.

3. Restart Claude Desktop

Quit the application completely (Cmd+Q) and reopen it. Claude will automatically detect the Klark server.

4. Authenticate

Your browser will open on the Klark consent page. Sign in with your email and password, then authorize access.
The Klark tools appear in Claude Desktop (hammer icon). You can start using them!

Test the connection

Once connected, try these commands in your AI assistant:
If the authentication window does not open, check that npx is available in your terminal and that mcp-remote can be installed.
