Installation

Choose your AI client and follow the matching instructions.

1. Open the configuration file

open ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

On Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

2. Add the Klark server

Claude Desktop does not yet natively support remote MCP servers. The mcp-remote package bridges the stdio protocol and HTTP.

3. Restart Claude Desktop

Quit the application completely (Cmd+Q) and reopen it. Claude will automatically detect the Klark server.

4. Authenticate

Your browser will open on the Klark consent page. Sign in with your email and password, then authorize access.

The Klark tools appear in Claude Desktop (hammer icon). You can start using them!

1. Open the MCP settings

Go to Settings > MCP Servers > Add Server.

2. Add the configuration

3. Authenticate

Cursor will automatically open your browser for OAuth authentication.

The Klark tools are now available in Cursor.

1. Add the server

claude mcp add klark https://api.klark.app/v1/mcp

2. Authenticate

The first time you use a Klark tool, your browser will open for authentication.

That’s it! The Klark tools are ready.

Configure your client with the following settings:

Transport	Streamable HTTP
Authentication	OAuth 2.0 (automatic)

Check your MCP client’s documentation to learn how to add a remote server.

Test the connection

Once connected, try these commands in your AI assistant:

List my clients

Create a 500€ invoice for the client Dupont

Show my products

If the authentication window does not open, check that npx is available in your terminal and that mcp-remote can be installed.
